Our story

The Flow Forward Foundation is a student-led organization based in Overland Park, Kansas, dedicated to alleviating the impact of period poverty on our community. The founders of the Flow Forward Foundation envisioned a future without period poverty. Through various initiatives such as community drives and fundraisers, we strongly believe in the power of breaking the chains of period poverty. Advocacy and education efforts will aid us in destigmatizing menstruation, empowering menstruators to live their best lives. Our name, "Flow Forward," represents the progress and concrete change we aim to create, striving for every menstruator to feel safe and comfortable throughout their cycle and beyond. No one should have to suffer due to period poverty; the Flow Forward Foundation aims to make that vision a reality.
