teenagers who menstruate are unable to afford period products

menstruators in Kansas between the ages 12 and 44 live below the poverty line and are unable to afford basic menstrual hygiene products
Our mission
We're three high-school students in Kansas on a mission to transform lives in our community. Our initiative - the Flow Forward Foundation - is dedicated to breaking down barriers in regard to menstrual hygiene.
How you can help us
Join us in our mission to #EndPeriodPoverty and make menstrual equity a reality for everyone. Together, we can ensure that no one in our community has to face the challenges of period poverty alone. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for helping us make a brighter, more equitable future for all.
Our achievements
Here are a few things Flow Forward has accomplished since 2023.
Our first drive accumulated over 10,000 menstrual products, which were donated to Hope House KC, Giving Hope and Help, and Children's Mercy
We testified in support of SB377 for the KS Senate Committee on Assessment and Taxation
We were a vendor and a donor at the 11th annual Period Product Packing Party run by Giving Hope and Help
Donated over 3,700 products to Care Beyond the Boulevard KC, a nonprofit aiming to provide necessary healthcare to the uninsured and unhoused community
Our Beneficiaries
With our drives, we are proud to donate to our beneficiaries, who uplift and aid menustrators in the KCMO metro area.
